Ryan Reynolds isn't saying bye, bye, bye to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In fact, the Deadpool star confirmed that he will be returning to the MCU after 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine, which saw his wisecracking anti-hero team up with Hugh Jackman's iconic X-Men character.
“There’s a few really deep cuts that I think are missing from the movies,” Reynolds said in footage circulating on social media from a Fanatics Fest panel on July 19. "There’s a few deep cuts missing from some of the comics."
Praising comic book writers Fabian Nicieza and Gerry Duggan for their "incredible" work in print so far, the 49-year-old added that there's "stuff upcoming" on the big screen as well.
"There’s eventually, remotely another Deadpool film," he shared to applause from fans. "It’s going to be great."
But Deadpool might be sharing the marquee with another superhero again. After all, Reynolds—who produced all three movies in the Deadpool franchise so far, including 2016's Deadpool and 2018's Deadpool 2—previously teased that it's unlikely Wade Wilson will have another solo movie.

“I don't think I'm going to center him again," he told Willie Geist during an April appearance on Today's Sunday Sitdown Live series. "I think he's a supporting character, you know? He's a guy that's great in a group."
Still, Reynolds noted that he has "some stuff kind of written" for another film after serving as a co-writer on the last two movies.
But whatever Reynolds does decide, he knows that he'll have support from wife Blake Lively and their four kids: James, 11, Inez, 9, Betty, 6, and Olin, 3. After all, his family are huge fans of the Deadpool films, with some members even making cameos in the last installment.
"I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here," Reynolds told the audience at the world premiere of Deadpool & Wolverine in 2024. "I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here: I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing—that is, the contents of this movie—that happens in your wondrous life."
He added at the time, "I love that my entire family is here."
