Millie Bobby Brown will be missing her costar Kaylee Hottle.
Following the news that the 18-year-old was killed in a July 21 car accident, the Stranger Things actress paid her respects to her Godzilla vs. Kong costar.
"I'm so devastated to hear this," Brown wrote over a black-and-white shot of a young Hottle acting in the 2021 blockbuster. "You will be deeply missed Kaylee."
Hottle died in a fatal single-vehicle collision in Ijamsville, Maryland, in the early hours of July 21, according to a press release from the Frederick County Sheriff's Office.
"The preliminary investigation revealed that a 1995 Honda Accord, operated by a 19-year-old Frederick man, traveled off the right side of the two-lane roadway and struck a culvert," the statement explained. "Excessive speed is believed to be a contributing factor in the collision."

Hottle’s family also spoke out about her death, with her dad Jonathan Hottle sharing the news on Facebook in a message in American Sign Language, alongside the caption, “I am taking a flight I never would like to take.”
In addition to making a name for herself when starring as the adoptive daughter of Rebecca Hall's scientist character in the monster movie and its 2024 follow-up Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire, Hottle has also had a guest appearance on Magnum P.I. in 2021.
In all of her work, Hottle—who descended from four generations of hearing-impaired individuals—brought awareness to the deaf community. Her dedication to her craft was celebrated by fellow deaf actress Marlee Matlin through a tribute speaking out on the child star's passing.
"I am absolutely gutted about the passing of sweet Kaylee Hottle," Marlee wrote alongside a photo with Kaylee shared to Instagram July 21. "May her beauty and talent be a memory for eternity."
