Tyrese Haliburton and Jade Jones are officially on the same team.
Nearly a year after the Indiana Pacers point guard and his girlfriend of seven years got engaged, the pair legally tied the knot at an Indianapolis courthouse.
In pictures shared to Instagram July 21, Haliburton wore a black T-shirt and pants alongside Jones, who donned a white cocktail dress and held a bouquet of flowers, as they posted up with family and friends outside the government building.
Commemorating the game-winning moment, Jones simply captioned the marriage post, “It’s (courthouse) official.”
Though the couple is legally married, they are still preparing to go all out on a formal ceremony over the July 31 weekend.
In fact, the NBA star is looking forward to the festivities, commenting on Jones’ July 20 recap of their trip to the 2026 World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, “2 more weeks we changing that last name.”

For her part, Jones is also looking forward to becoming a Haliburton, framing the couple’s April anniversary as her “last anniversary as a Jones.”
But while the former college cheerleader—who met Haliburton while they were both student athletes at Iowa State—is excited for her wedding day, Jones has also been going through a difficult period of life. She recently grieved her close friend Makenzi Kern, who died on her bachelorette party last month from undisclosed health complications.
“I can’t even imagine our wedding day without her there celebrating with us,” Jones wrote on Instagram June 17. “The day will not be the same without her, but I know she will show us she is there somehow.”
Indeed, Jones noted that Kern supported her and Haliburton “through every chapter” and she plans to keep her friend’s spirit alive forever.
“Kenz will forever live on in my memories, my laughter, my stories, and in the person I am because of her,” she added. “I will never stop laughing about all our memories together.”
