PICKAWAY COUNTY, Ohio — A highway in Pickaway County was closed temporarily Wednesday after a truck hauling pickles crashed, spilling its cargo all over the roadway.

A post on social media from the Ohio Department of Transportation said the crash occurred on Ohio 316. The post includes a video showing containers of pickles spread over a wide area.

The mess closed both the east and westbound lanes between Ohio 56 and London Road, WBNS Channel 10 reports.

ODOT did not release information on what caused the crash. The driver of the truck was not injured.

“The pickles, however, are speared,” the post said.

Pickaway County is located south of Columbus.
