The man who died Tuesday morning in a south Laredo auto-pedestrian crash jumped from a moving vehicle before being struck by the same vehicle, according to the Laredo Police Department.
The crash was initially reported by police at about 10:17 a.m.
The fatal incident is connected to several locations, and investigators were on scene to determine exactly what occurred.
The victim died at the scene, police said. He was described as a young Hispanic man, but no identity or age was immediately released.
The vehicle left the scene, according to police.
