The Seattle Seahawks faced some tough choices during the 2026 offseason. Seattle had to let some excellent players walk out the door, including Super Bowl MVP Kenneth Walker III. The Seahawks immediately added a replacement for Walker, which ended up creating a special rivalry within an already competitive NFC West division.
Seahawks running back Jadarian Price appeared on a recent episode of The Insiders on NFL Network. Price gave an honest answer when Ian Rapoport asked about his upcoming rivalry with Jeremiyah Love.
“Yeah, of course we’ll be competing,” Price answered. “We’ve always been competing at Notre Dame. But we also helped each other succeed and get to where we’re at now and being able to face each other twice a year. That first jersey swap is going to be pretty fun, as we already did a couple of weeks ago.”

Price and Love were teammates at Notre Dame for three seasons before joining the NFL. Now they are immediately division rivals in the NFC West.
But Price has still stayed in close contact with Love via their Notre Dame group chat.
“But yeah we still got a group chat with our Notre Dame running backs that’s still live and we’re talking in it every day,” Price added. “Just hearing what’s going on with him in Arizona, what’s going on with me in Seattle.”
That is all well and good during the offseason. However, that group chat may go radio silent once the 2026 season is officially underway this fall.
It won’t take long before Price and Love face off against each other during the regular season. Seattle travels to Arizona in Week 2 for a much-anticipated rivalry game between the two star running backs.
“Everyone is excited for this matchup, so I’m ready,” Price concluded.
It will be exciting to see how Price fits into Seattle’s offense during his rookie campaign.
