Following an interaction with a Miami Heat fan on social media Tuesday, Lillard shared a mysterious post that immediately fueled discussion among NBA fans.

After a video surfaced of new Heat star Giannis Antetokounmpo training in Greece alongside teammate Davion Mitchell, X user Major Passons took the opportunity to criticize Damian Lillard. Comparing the two guards, Passons wrote, “Davion doing what Dame wouldn’t even do.”

Questions about Lillard and Antetokounmpo’s chemistry resurfaced after reports that the two never trained together during the 2024 offseason, a storyline that worried some Bucks fans at the time. With Antetokounmpo now gone from Milwaukee, those discussions have returned, but Lillard quickly pushed back against the idea that he was responsible for any issues during their time as teammates, firing back at Major Passons on social media.
