Third Hobby Lobby set to open along Grand Strand. Here's where it will be located

A new, major national home decor and craft store is opening a third location along the Grand Strand.

Hobby Lobby is building a store along U.S. 501 in the Conway area. It will be located along Myrtle Ridge Avenue, next to the Carolina Forest Walmart.

It is unclear when the store plans to open. A message left for company officials was not immediately returned by publication.

The nearly 7 acres of land for the new building was bought in May for more than $2.2 million, and the store will be 55,000-square-feet, according to online land records.

This will be the second new store the company has built in the area.

In April, a Hobby Lobby store opened at 231 Mall Drive in Murrells Inlet, in the revitalized Inlet Square Mall.

The two new stores join North Myrtle Beach’s Hobby Lobby, located at 1430 U.S. 17 North.
