You won’t see Anne Hathaway munching on popcorn

Anne Hath-a-will and Anne Hath-a-way to enjoy theater snacks, just not the most iconic one. Anne Hathaway told Britney Broski on the Royal Court show that she’s actually allergic to popcorn, and she has an alternative movie theater go-to. “Confession: I’m allergic to popcorn,” she shared to her co-star Matt Damon’s surprise. “I know, it’s really sad. When it’s on offer, I get pretzel bites with mustard. Otherwise I do peanut M&Ms and either a Coke or a Dr. Pepper.” But, but what about all the times she’s eaten popcorn on screen, like for the most recent ad for the Trojan Horse popcorn bucket where she caught a popcorn in her mouth? It’s called acting, and she’s really good at it! Why do you think she’s starring in like five different movies this year alone?

Does that mean she can’t enjoy a good popcorn bucket or two? Absolutely she can. As long as it’s filled with pretzels. Maybe she can be the ambassador for a movie themed pretzel vessel.
