The reason behind country star Jelly Roll's divorce from podcaster Bunnie Xo will cause the internet to "crumble" when it is revealed, according to the singer's 18-year-old daughter, Bailee Ann DeFord.
Addressing viewers during a Sunday TikTok livestream, Bailee moved to shut down online speculation and rumors of infidelity that have surrounded the end of her father's nearly 10-year marriage.
"Nobody cheated," Bailee said on the livestream, according to People. "Period. [Get] the f*ck out of my comments, my DMs, my live with that sh*t, I don't care, I don't want to talk about it."
Grammy-winner Jelly Roll filed a petition for divorce against Bunnie Xo in Williamson County, Tennessee, on May 18.
Court records and documents obtained by People list their official date of separation as May 9 on the grounds of irreconcilable differences. The divorce was finalized less than two months after the initial petition.
According to Tennessee court filings cited by Us Weekly and other outlets, the former couple agreed on how to divide their property before signing a marital dissolution agreement.
Under the terms, they will split their vehicles, an aircraft, intellectual property rights, and various financial accounts. Jelly Roll will pay his ex-wife a lump sum rather than alimony, the exact amount of which remains confidential. Both parties have said that they remain on good terms following the split.
Despite the settled legal terms, ongoing public commentary about the former couple's relationship prompted strong pushback from Bailee, who insisted the public does not know the full story behind her father's decision to file for divorce.
"Y'all have no f*cking idea what happened, and wait 'til y'all find out," she said during the live stream, stating that "the internet in totality is about to f*cking crumble the day that I open my mouth."
Bailee further dismissed outside theories from commenters, stating, "It's not a difference in f*cking opinions. Nobody else lived in it. So don't f*cking even. I'm for real so done. Good? Everybody good? We're on the same page? Cool," before continuing her livestream and changing the subject.
The teen's recent statements follow a cryptic video she posted to TikTok in June, where she first broke her silence regarding the family matter.
"Oh & one more thing I am disgusted at how invested everyone is in a very clearly private family matter," Bailee wrote over a selfie in the June post, which no longer appears on TikTok. "It's fkn crazy."
She concluded that post with a message directly addressing speculation.
"Go on somewhere yall. Worry bout your house- not mine. I'm not speaking on it - yet."
