Raccoons are back in the zeitgeist. They are capturing the hearts of World Cup players and silly-video lovers alike. The only person who isn’t happy to see a trash panda crawling into her home is Kesha, who posted a video of herself trying to keep out a raccoon. Maybe if it were Jimothy, she’d feel differently. The animal was trying to enter through an open window, and when Kesha told it “no,” it made a little squeaking noise, like it was sad it wasn’t invited to the party. “No raccoons in the house,” she asserted. “I’m scared of you.”
,Kesha tried to make herself bigger than the critter, the most popular technique for scaring off animals. But if they’re at the point where they’re opening windows, they’re not scared of humans. She almost gave in, but if you give one raccoon a cookie, it will call all of its pals. And she will not be overrun by raccoons, even if they are friend-shaped. Unfortunately, wrangling woodland creatures is completely different than ghost hunting, something Kesha is a pro at. Maybe once raccoons pass into the next dimension, she can communicate with this species more successfully.
