Fallon Henley has become part of one of wrestling’s funniest viral moments, and it even earned her a surprise gift from Arby’s. The SmackDown star recently went viral after Cody Rhodes shared a funny backstage story from their time in AEW. The story was about AEW wrestler Aaron Solo trying to introduce himself to Henley, but things didn’t go as planned.
The story first came up on What Do You Wanna’ Talk About, where Cody Rhodes shared a memory from his AEW days.
According to Rhodes, Henley was backstage carrying Arby’s while walking with a group of friends. Aaron Solo saw the moment as a chance to introduce himself and followed them toward the elevator.
When the elevator doors opened and Solo finally got his chance, he completely froze. Instead of starting a conversation or asking Henley out, all he could say was, “Arby’s, huh?”
Rhodes shared the moment as a funny backstage memory, but fans quickly turned it into a viral joke. Soon enough, Arby’s noticed the story and decided to join in.
Arby’s surprises Fallon Henley after Aaron Solo’s failed attempt story went viral
After the story went viral, Henley shared on her Instagram Stories that Arby’s had sent her a gift box full of branded merchandise. The package also included a handwritten note that joked about the now-famous story. On top of that, Arby’s gave Henley free food. The note said:
“We are honored to be a part of a pickup line, even if it didn’t work. Instead go pick up some of your Arby’s favs – on us.
P.S. – Package includes a SmackDown ready fit.”
Before joining WWE, Henley spent time wrestling in AEW. From November 2020 to August 2021, she competed on AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation. She also made her AEW Dynamite debut on December 9, 2020.
At the time, Cody Rhodes was both an AEW Executive Vice President and an active wrestler, so he witnessed many backstage moments involving younger talent.
Henley later signed with WWE in 2022.
