Alexandria police: Man arrested for multiple indecent exposure incidents — Woman stabbed on Braddock Road in Alexandria, 1 detained

Police are urging the community to avoid Braddock Road as officers investigate an incident.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (DC News Now) — The community is being urged to avoid Braddock Road after a woman was stabbed on Wednesday morning.

Alexandria police told DC News Now that the stabbing occurred in the 4800 block of Braddock Road and involved two women.

One woman was taken to the hospital and is expected to be OK.

Police also detained a person of interest.

“There is no known threat to the community. The investigation remains ongoing,” said police.
