MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A man was taken to the hospital in critical condition after he was struck by a car in Montgomery County overnight, police said.
In a post on X, the Montgomery County Department of Police said that officers and medics were dispatched to the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Powder Mill Road just before 5 a.m. on July 22.
There, first responders found a man who had been hit by a car.
The driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene.
As of Wednesday morning, police noted that the pedestrian is in critical condition.
