Laredo's vegan, plant-based and wellness community will once again take center stage this fall with the return of Veggie Fiesta, and organizers are looking for vendors, entertainers and volunteers.
Hosted by Laredo Main Street, Veggie Fiesta will be held Sept. 19 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo.
Laredo Main Street describes the event as "a farmer's market but bigger," featuring vendors offering vegan, plant-based and wellness-focused food, beverages and merchandise.
Organizers are seeking vendors specializing in healthy food and beverages, fresh produce, plant-based products and sustainable goods, as well as local artisans and health and wellness businesses.
The event also is seeking yoga instructors, fitness instructors, dance performers, cooking demonstrators and presenters for interactive wellness workshops.
“If you have something that promotes health, wellness or sustainability, we want you there,” Laredo Main Street said in a statement.
Veggie Fiesta debuted in 2022 with the goal of bringing together the vegan, plant-based and wellness communities. The event is presented in partnership with The Outlet Shoppes at Laredo, the Laredo Center for Urban Agriculture, GO TEXAN and H-E-B.
