Sprite just launched a new, exclusive soda in stores

This summer has treated us to plenty of fun seasonal sodas so far, from Poppi Lemonade to Fanta Vanilla Cherry Spritz to a brand-new version of Mountain Dew’s Baja Blast. Even Sprite has been busy, bringing back fan-favorite Sprite Cherry and introducing the new Sprite Chill Mango Citrus.

But all the while, there’s been one we’ve been patiently waiting for. When we first heard rumors it was on its way in early May, we had no idea we’d have two long months of waiting ahead. Now, Sprite has officially confirmed the launch, and we’re finally just days away from getting a taste.

New Sprite + Tea Peach Is Coming Soon

Sprite’s most anticipated soda flavor of the summer is officially on its way to store shelves: Sprite + Tea Peach.

If that flavor sounds familiar, it’s because it’s a spin-off of another Sprite favorite that launched in 2025: Sprite + Tea. The original flavor was inspired by an internet trend that took off several summers back, where people steeped a tea bag in a bottle of Sprite to create a refreshing drink with sweet, citrusy, and lightly bitter notes—like a fizzy twist on an Arnold Palmer.

It was a big departure from the classic lemon-lime soda, even down to the color. Instead of the clear, bubbly soda you’d expect, it has an amber, caramel-colored hue that immediately lets you know you’re in for something different.

And for many fans, especially sweet tea lovers, the combination really worked. “The addition of the tea, it just takes the Sprite to a whole ‘nother level,” one fan on TikTok explained. “It’s like drinking carbonated iced tea,” another wrote on Reddit.

In fact, Sprite saw so much success with the limited-time flavor that it doubled down on the Sprite + Tea concept this season—bringing back the original flavor and launching a new one alongside it.

For fans who love all things peach, this one sounds like the perfect summer Sprite. Commenters are already excited to try it, writing, “I need that Sprite + peach tea” and “I bet this will be wicked good and super refreshing.”

The only real complaint? It’s only available at one retailer: Kroger.

“I hate that the peach Sprite tea will be Kroger exclusive—I love Sprite tea and with peach sounds amazing, but I don’t live anywhere near Kroger,” one fan wrote.

Right now, Sprite hasn’t confirmed how long the exclusive flavor will be around, but we’d expect it to be a short limited-time summer release. So if you want to get your hands on a bottle, don’t wait too long. There may still be plenty of summer left, but these seasonal sodas have a way of disappearing before you know it.
