Ben & Jerry’s is known for its flavor-packed ice creams and political activism (we love a brand that takes a stand), and those two things have come together once again in the brand’s newest flavor: Razz Up!
Razz Up! is a new limited-batch flavor launched in conjunction with Ben & Jerry’s campaign to mobilize communities across the country to vote in the 2026 midterm elections.
“Elected leaders should represent all of us! Midterm elections are our opportunity to Razz Up and vote for people and policies that actually reflect community needs,” the brand says on the flavor’s product page.
The flavor features black raspberry ice cream with swirls of raspberry and crackling fudge chunks—and those chunks are the detail that makes this flavor feel unlike any we’ve tried before.
“Let’s get crackling! Raise your voice—and a spoon—for a berry sweet future!” the product page also reads.
As someone who would rarely choose a fruit-flavored ice cream over something chocolatey, this one really surprised me in the best way. The black raspberry flavor is prominent without being too sweet or overpowering, and nothing about it tastes artificial. But the fudge chunks are what kept me going back for spoonful after spoonful.
The pieces are creamy and chocolatey, but they also have that surprise element of crackling as you eat them, almost like Pop Rocks. The effect gives the flavor a little extra oomph without making it distracting or feel like a gimmick, and makes the whole pint feel memorable.
The new flavor is currently available at Ben & Jerry’s Scoop Shop and will roll out in pints at grocery stores nationwide. Razz up and try it yourself.
