Williams and Reeve first met in 1973 while studying at the Juilliard School in New York. Their careers took off around the same time in 1978, with Reeve becoming a global star as Superman and Williams breaking through as the unforgettable alien Mork in “Mork & Mindy.”
Their bond continued long after their rise to fame. In 1993, Williams asked Reeve to become the godfather of his son, Zachary, further cementing a friendship that extended well beyond Hollywood.
