Restrooms at North Central Park and John Valls Park are temporarily closed as crews work to repair a valve malfunction affecting water service.

Restrooms at two north Laredo parks are temporarily closed Tuesday morning because of low water pressure in the area.

The City of Laredo Parks and Recreation Department said the closures affect North Central Park and John Valls Park.

According to the city, a malfunctioning pressure relief valve has caused low water pressure and, in some areas, water outages. Crews are working to repair the valve and restore service.

The city has not provided a timeline for when the park restrooms will reopen.
