Anytime my dog knows a treat is happening soon, she totally loses her mind. At her big age of eight years old, she still can't hold it together — she's tap dancing all over the kitchen, just waiting for me to get her favorite snack out of the pantry. As a puppy, she was even crazier, so I am extremely impressed by the puppy in this video.
Meet Parsley the Australian Labradoodle, who is the sweetest little pup waiting in the car for her dad to come back with her pup cup. She's a rare breed.
(A literal rare breed of dog, and also rare because she's this patient.)
Here she is, calm as can be, sitting in the passenger seat of the car just waiting for her treat. Pup cups are pretty exciting for most dogs, so I'm amazed at how she's not completely freaking out.
I'm also amazed at how cute she is. Can we talk about those hair accessories?
Australian Labradoodles like Parsley can be hard to find. They're a mixed crossover breed between Labradors, Poodles, and Cocker Spaniels, and it looks like she got the pretty gene from all three breeds!

Why This Australian Labradoodle Puppy's Patience Is So Impressive
So many people are falling in love with Parsley for a reason: Not only is she gorgeous (obviously), but she's also surprisingly patient. In a puppy, that's a hard quality to come by!
Puppies are just like little kids, and since they're so new to the world and have boundless energy, of course they're excited about just about everything — and they're still learning, so anyone would have understood if Parsley was going wild in that car waiting for her treat.
While patience can certainly be something you train your dog to have, there are some breeds that are naturally more patient than others, based on their personalities, as Treehugger points out:
- Beagle
- Bernese Mountain Dog
- Collie
- Golden Retriever
- Newfoundland
- Pugs
Natural patience also means that these dog breeds are great to have in a household with kids, who also aren't going to be chill around the dog they adore.
If you're a new puppy parent and yours isn't quite as chill as Parsley yet, give it time. They may just get there!
