It isn’t a successful event where Logan Paul makes an appearance unless he threatens to fight another celebrity, and that’s what happened when he appeared on a panel with former NFL star Tom Brady at Fanatics Fest in July 2026. The drama between the two men began well before that, but in a now viral clip that Logan shared himself on Instagram, Tom slaps Logan across the face.
The pair have to be pulled apart by New York Knicks center and forward Karl-Anthony Towns. But after Logan shared the clip on his Instagram account, he wrote in the caption that he plans to sue Tom for the slap. Honestly, it wouldn’t be surprising if he challenged the former Patriots quarterback to some kind of professional fight at this point, given his and his brother Jake Paul’s boxing careers and showmanship.

In the clip from Fanatics Fest that Logan shared on Instagram, he tells Tom, “You’re the goat, so you should be doing goat s–t and you weren’t. I’m a YouTuber.” When Tom tells Logan that she has been “talking s–t,” Logan responds, “So what?” After Tom threatens to beat him up, Logan responds that he will “hurt” Tom if he comes back to the event next year. It’s at this point that Tom slaps Logan in a surprise move.
No, per Logan, he plans to file a lawsuit against Tom. Is it part of real drama or something that the pair agreed to start publicly to drum up interest in both of them as professional athletes and entertainers? That’s the question now, even as people commented on Logan’s Instagram post to blast him for claiming that he’s going to sue Tom.
“Logan Paul is a little fairy,” one user commented on his post.
Another wrote, “Proclaim boxer talking about suing over a slap.”
“Suing him because your pride is hurt is crazy,” someone else commented with a crying laughing emoji.
According to Yahoo! Sports, the drama between Logan and Tom began in early 2026 when Logan publicly stated that his short appearance in the WWE made him as much of an athlete as a professional NFL player. Then, his team went up against Tom’s and won in the March 2026 Fanatics Flag Football Classic.
People think the Tom Brady slap is actually AI or staged.
Just because there has been ongoing public drama between Tom and Logan, though, it doesn’t mean it’s all 100% real. Another person commented on Logan’s Instagram video to say just that and speculate on whether or not the physical altercation was real or planned as part of some elaborate publicity stunt.
They wrote, “Are you guys launching a product together?! Feels like a great publicity stunt!”
And when Fanatics posted the video and wrote in the caption, “Round 100 of this never ending beef at Fanatics Fest,” some people claimed the video is AI-generated.
“Tom Brady don’t even look right slapping someone…it looks out of character for him,” a user commented on the Fanatics post.
To that, a user replied, “It’s AI.”
Others agreed that the video being AI content is the only ebay to explain what happened between Logan and Tom, though no one has come out to confirm that. It does seem out of character for Tom to slap someone publicly. But if it is part of some larger stunt, then it makes sense for the video to be real, even if it was potentially staged.

Although Tom didn’t confirm if the slap was real, AI-generated, or staged, he did post about it himself on X (formerly Twitter). He shared the same viral video of the Fanatics Fest slap and wrote “Dork” along with it. If the so-called rivalry is real, it doesn’t seem like Tom takes it very seriously.
And, judging by the criticisms of his slap rather than full-on punch or even shove, he didn’t seem intent on actually hurting Logan.
