Nearly three weeks after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wed at Madison Square Garden, Jason Kelce is sharing new details about the star-studded NYC ceremony.
The 38-year-old retired NFL star, who is Kelce’s older brother, appeared on the July 21 episode of the “Ross Tucker Football Podcast.” During the interview, Tucker kicked off the wedding conversation by joking, “I can't believe that you agreed to make this the exclusive place where you're going to go over every detail from the wedding. I am honored, man.”
“That was a fun night, brother,” Kelce said. “It was a great time.”
The conversation then turned to singing.
“My sister-in-law, a couple days afterwards, said, ‘Is it true that Travis and Taylor sang?’” Tucker recalled. “And I said, ‘Yeah.’ And she said, ‘Is he good?’ I said, ‘Yeah, actually he is good…’ And I think she said, ‘Are those guys just good at everything?’ I'm like, ‘I don't know. They might be.’ If I didn't know different, I would have thought that that's what he does. He's a good singer.”
Kelce agreed, adding, “Trav can sing. Trav has always been able to carry a tune. Obviously, paled in comparison to some of the other people singing that night, but he did okay…Trav is very good.”
Per NBC News, Travis and Taylor sang their “favorite rock song” at their rehearsal dinner, while Paul McCartney and Stevie Nicks performed at the wedding.
Kelce’s comments come weeks after he reflected on the ceremony during the American Century Championship in Lake Tahoe on July 9.
“It was a good time,” he said, per the New York Post, adding that the wedding was “great.” The outlet also reported that he was asked if he drank “more or less than 15 beers” during the festivities, to which he responded: “Way over.”
