- The I Know What You Did Last Summer actress debuted a bright blonde hue in a video shared on Thursday.
- Hewitt previously sported a strawberry red hair color.
Jennifer Love Hewitt’s chocolate brown locks were her beauty calling card in the ‘90s, but the I Know What You Did Last Summer actress has experimented on the opposite side of the color spectrum in recent months with shades of deep auburn, strawberry blonde, and dark honey. And in a video shared on Thursday, Hewitt hard-launched her blonde era with her lightest hair color in over a decade.
“Season 10 hair ready! Let’s go!” the 9-1-1 actress captioned a clip showing off her platinum blonde hair transformation for her long-running role as Maddie Han. In the video, Hewitt could be seen wearing a navy blue collared henley shirt as she flipped out her bright blonde curtain bangs and blunt chest-grazing strands, revealing her slightly darker roots.
Beaming at the camera as she showed off different angles of the multi-dimensional hair color, she made a heart sign with her hands at the camera.
The Client List actress, who previously sported a fiery strawberry blonde hair color, revealed she transitioned to a warm golden blonde during the show’s hiatus in photos and videos shared on April 21. Before that, Hewitt sported a rich spiced auburn hue—a more intense version of the apricot red that she debuted on the red carpet at the July 2025 premiere of the I Know What You Did Last Summer sequel.
The Heartbreakers actress—who shares kids Autumn, 12, Atticus, 11, and Aidan, 4, with husband Brian Hallisay—last took a short-lived walk on the blonde side with ash-toned highlights back in 2023.
However, her latest buttery blond transformation is more in keeping with her lightest hair color yet: The headline-making platinum blonde with slightly darker ombre ends that Hewitt memorably sported back in the spring of 2014.
The star looked nearly unrecognizable as she debuted the icy dye job while attending the launch of her maternity clothing line, L By Jennifer Love Hewitt, with Pea in a Pod in Beverly Hills.
