Interstate 70 is open again after the eastbound lanes were closed due to a commercial vehicle fire Wednesday morning.
The fire was just east of Georgetown in the eastbound lanes of I-70, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT). CDOT first posted about the fire at about 5:41 a.m.
The Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office said the fire involved a commercial vehicle. Cameras along the interstate showed flames from the fire as Clear Creek Fire Authority worked on the scene.
The sheriff's office said there were no injuries reported.
At about 9:20 a.m., the sheriff's office reported both lanes of eastbound I-70 were reopened.
