No matter how sweet and outgoing a dog may be, every pup has their stubborn streaks that leave their parents cursing under their breath. This Golden Retriever refusing to walk is no different. Zebby was in the middle of the ultimate stubborn streak (and the ultimate viral moment) when his parents figured out what he wanted: Dad! This family-oriented dog didn't want to leave the driveway until the entire family was together, and honestly, it's the sweetest reason to be stubborn.
What a drama king! Zebby was one grumpy guy when Mom tried to drag him away without summoning Dad first, but her strength was no match for his stubbornness. He flat out refused to budge! Luckily, in true Golden Retriever fashion, the pup was more than happy to keep walking as soon as his wish was granted.
"He said 'ohana means nobody gets left behind," commented @hammerhead1776. Exactly! The immediate change in his demeanor as soon as Dad walked up was the sweetest thing to witness, though it may not feel so sweet for the poor guy who just got dragged outside when all he wanted to do was chill.
Oh well! Dog parents will do just about anything to appease their pups, and Zebby's mom and dad are no exception. Even if he's just "a health-conscious king just making sure the fam gets their steps in," like @teddybubblesbiscuit commented, they'll lace up their shoes just for him.
