Watching a grieving dog move in with a new family can be incredibly bittersweet, but for those dogs, it's often the best thing that could have happened. Many dogs find themselves in animal shelters after their humans pass away, but one rescue dog went on a special journey across the border to start life anew with his late dad's best friend and his family.
Benny is a smart and affectionate Bull Terrier who was looking for a soft place to land after losing his dad, and he couldn't have found a better place to heal than on a North Carolina farm with @jtruelovem's family. Benny may be used to city life in Canada, but he's taking to country life like he was always meant for it.
Welcome home, Benny! No one will ever replace his dad, but this family's love will carry him further than he ever thought possible. Just a few days ago, this sad dog was sitting around with nothing to do but wonder where his dad went, but now, he can reminisce about all the good times he shared with his dad with his 'uncle' who loved his dad just as much.

Benny is still a grieving dog, but watching him come to life through this family's videos has been the greatest gift. He's already learning his way around the farm and making friends with the animals, and this is only the beginning.
Caring for Bull Terriers
It doesn't take a dog expert to see that Benny is one easygoing, affectionate dog who's happiest when he's hanging out with his people, but, like all breeds, Bull Terriers have special quirks pet parents should be aware of.

Although this commenter hit the nail on the head—these dogs do things to please themselves or simply for the fun of it—pet parents will also be glad to learn that these pups love to keep their people entertained. Benny and his new family may all be healing right now, but they have many fun and humorous moments in their future.
