Edwardsville police investigate reported theft, vandalism at Metro-East Lutheran

The report involved the school’s athletic offices.

The Edwardsville Police Department is investigating a report of theft and vandalism at Metro-East Lutheran High School.

Officers responded to the school, 6305 Center Grove Road, around 3:20 p.m. July 20 after receiving a report of theft and vandalism in the athletic offices.

Anyone with information should call the department’s nonemergency number at 618-656-2131 and ask to speak with the investigating officers.

Metro-East Lutheran athletic director Jason Batty was unavailable for comment.
