Brad Paisley opened up about getting an invite to the most exclusive event of the year: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s New York City wedding.
The singer and NFL star tied the knot at Madison Square Garden over the July 4th weekend, and Paisley and his wife, actor Kimberly Williams-Paisley, were there to see it all.

The country singer on Friday told The Associated Press he took the invite “personally.”
“Because in the invite, it said, ‘If you’re getting this, you mean a lot to us,’” he said of the sweet detail.
The country singer also shared that the wedding itself was so top secret, guests weren’t even aware of the exact location.

“It was really fun to watch the cat-and-mouse game of like, ‘We can tell you roughly where it’s gonna be. We’re not gonna say what building. ... And here’s the date, and if you’re in, we’ll tell you more,’” Paisley said. “And I was like, I went to my wife, I said, ‘Want to go?’ She’s like, ‘Absolutely. We’ve gotta be there.’ So we did it. It was RSVP yes.”
Paisley added that the star-studded bash was “Ironically, one of the least pretentious weddings I’ve ever seen, or ever will see.”
Paisley and Swift go way back, as the “Love Story” singer first opened for Paisley during his 2007 tour. He has also spoken highly of her over the years, calling Swift “the voice of her generation” in 2010.
