Olivia Miles had another masterful showing on Monday, as the Minnesota Lynx defeated the Seattle Storm, 105-102, at Climate Pledge Arena for their sixth straight win.
Miles had a near triple-double of 32 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists. She shot 13-of-24 from the field and only had one turnover in a game-high 36 minutes.
The Lynx have hardly missed Napheesa Collier, who is still recovering from an ankle injury, with the way Miles has performed in her debut campaign.

The Ringer’s Bill Simmons could not help but be reminded of Luka Doncic of the Los Angeles Lakers with how the high-scoring guard landed in Minnesota.
“Olivia Miles falling to No. 3 was just as stupid and indefensible as Luka falling to No. 3 in 2018. Can’t believe the s*** she’s doing during these games. Just a blast to watch. A true hooper. She needs to be a bigger deal,” wrote Simmons on X.
“My bad, she fell to No. 2, not No. 3 (I had Luka in my head). Same thing though, she should have gone first.”
The Dallas Wings selected Azzi Fudd with the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft.
Doncic fell to the No. 3 pick with the Atlanta Hawks after Deandre Ayton and Marvin Bagley III were picked ahead of him by the Phoenix Suns and the Sacramento Kings, respectively. The Hawks traded Doncic to the Dallas Mavericks in exchange for Trae Young, who was the No. 5 pick.
Miles, who has received high praise from Sue Bird, is the clear frontrunner as Rookie of the Year, averaging team-highs of 19.6 points and 6.0 assists on top of 4.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals. She is shooting 50.1% from the field, including 36.2% from long distance.
The Lynx improved to 21-6, including 11-2 on the road. The Storm, meanwhile, suffered their fifth straight loss and dropped to 6-22. They will face off again on Wednesday.
