It’s very important to communicate with your Big Brother alliance. That task is harder when it’s a large alliance, and you don’t want to catch unwanted attention. Rome Seymour chose a bold way to deal with this on the live feeds.

Dee Valladares was the first Head of Household (HOH) of the season, and that helped her form alliances. The live feeds revealed Rick Devens won HOH in week 2.

Seymour, 28, already had an alliance with Lyric Medeiros, Jason De Puy, Melody Morris, and LaTrice “LaLa” Verrett. He was on good terms with Devens, but the 42-year-old Survivor player didn’t trust Medeiros, 25. That’s a problem since Seymour and Medeiros are already in a showmance.

The pickleball coach invited Devens into his established alliance, and the seasoned competitor saw through it. He moved forward with his allies from last week, and they tried to meet. Valladares tried to wake up Barrett Pfeiffer in the Have-Not room and caught Seymour’s attention.

The HOH met with Valladares, Pfeiffer, Drew Campbell, Angela Murray, Haley Thogmartin, Chuk Anyanwu, and Kamuela “Kamu” Kirk on Thursday night. He said he plans to target Puy and Medeiros. Seymour caught on to it and rang the HOH doorbell.

No one answered, and the alliance tried to hush each other. Seymour sat outside the HOH door. The allies went into the bathroom to talk and solidified their alliance.

Seymour told the houseguests it was not cool when they left the room. He pulled Murray and Valladares aside the next morning. He said that he understood people are going to talk game in the house. But he hoped they would have the courtesy not to shut him out and ignore him if he rang the doorbell. They apologized.

This incident could split the house for good. Rome put a bigger target on himself and his allies. They’ll need to win power to go up against the other side that has momentum from Valladares’ win last week.
