The bartender also told Page Six who she thinks has the best chance at winning the season.

“Big Brother 28” star Ashley Trail knows she caused her own eviction by talking to the wrong people at the wrong time.

The 24-year-old bartender exclusively told Page Six that she sealed her fate when she told Melody Morris’ side of the house that Dee Valladares’ alliance planned to vote to keep her.

“It is the big controversy that I went to Melody, Lyric and Mallory, and I laid out the case that there’s two sides of the house and you’re gonna be on the wrong side of vote if you don’t vote with ours,” she explained.

Trail said she didn’t see anything wrong with exposing the two sides of the house because she thought the alliances were “implied” already.

However, Trail’s blunder caused Valladares’ group to back out of the plan and join the opposing alliance in unanimously voting out Trail over Taylor Brown in the first eviction.

“I didn’t have enough votes to stay if just the people backing me were going to keep me,” she explained. “So I needed Melody, Lyric or Mallory to vote me. So I tried to confide in their trust.”

Additionally, Trail admitted she was “shocked” to learn Valladares, 29, was going to evict her if there was a tie because of a promise the “Survivor” winner gave to Brown.

“It’s like dang, even if I would have gotten the votes, she still wouldn’t have had my back because I couldn’t count her in on a vote anyways,” Trail told us. “So to find that she wasn’t even gonna keep me to stay over Taylor anyways was crazy.”

Trail also acknowledged she should’ve gamed harder to avoid being an early target.

“I feel like I was kind of being shut down in a way,” she said. “I don’t know if people were taking my gameplay seriously. I had not really competed in a real deal competition after losing the first one. And so maybe people just weren’t taking me seriously as a player.”

Trail added, “Day two, I started talking game and I know people started probably talking day one. I wasn’t that behind, but it was hard to play catch up in the sense that nobody was really confiding in me.”

Despite her eviction, Trail confirmed she’s going to watch the rest of the season and believes Valladares and fellow “Survivor” alum Rick Devens have the best shot at winning.

But Trail “of course” is rooting for Angela Murray.

“She’s got the theatrics, but she’s also got a little gameplay,” Trail said.

“Big Brother 28” airs every Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 8 p.m. ET on CBS and is available to stream the next day on Paramount+
