Meghan Markle reportedly isn’t opposed to spending more time in England.
After the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry took their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, to visit King Charles III and Queen Camilla in the U.K., an insider close to the Spare author claimed Meghan is more open to returning.
Meghan ‘fully behind’ return to Britain
The couple stepped down as senior members of the royal family in 2020 to move to America to pursue more personal ventures. However, Meghan and Harry didn’t get the reception they thought they would.
“I hear that Meghan is all for rekindling and reconnecting with Harry’s English side. She is fully behind it,” a source close to the Duke of Sussex told Daily Mail.
“They have had successes. A $100 million Netflix deal is not nothing. But that American dream is cooling and she feels an outcast status as well,” the insider said.
Meghan and Harry are starting to feel ‘unwelcome in America’
Despite their efforts, the With Love, Meghan star and Harry haven’t achieved the success they want.
“There is definitely a feeling in his camp that he has started to feel a bit unwelcome in America,” the source claimed.
“That has been an increasing and significant shift in sentiment, a feeling that the American dream might not be all that it was cracked up to be. I am told that this is coming from Meghan as well as from him,” they noted.
Meghan thinks ‘enough water has now passed under the bridge’ for a royal return
Following their meet-up with His Majesty and his wife, Meghan reportedly believes there might be hope for a royal return.
“She feels like she is trying to push fresh thoughts and projects, but it is not easy,” the insider pointed out.
“So maybe enough water has now passed under the bridge here for some form of a return,” the source alleged.
Meghan and Harry want ‘to reverse Megxit’
Royal expert Alison Boshoff believes the Suits star and her spouse are ready to right the wrongs of the past if they return to the U.K.
“The Sussexes are seeking to reverse Megxit,” the journalist told “The Royalist” podcast. “A return to the U.K. is being contemplated in some form.”
“I think there are people on two sides of this blanket and each of them has a thread in their hands,” she said. “They’re pulling it… I think it is being unpicked.”
