After marriage come the hard decisions of how to build a life together. And for celebrities, a lot of those decisions have to do with location. The bigger stars are sometimes tied to one place because of their careers, and if their significant other isn't living with them or has responsibilities that take them elsewhere, the distance can put a strain on the relationship. We've seen it happen again and again.
But reportedly, after their lavish wedding at Madison Square Garden in front of over one thousand people, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are now determined that won't happen to them. And with Kelce now in Missouri to prepare for the upcoming NFL season, that means it'll be up to Swift to relocate, at least temporarily.

According to Hollywood insider Rob Shuter, that's exactly what will happen, with Swift expected to spend as much time as possible in Missouri. The Kansas City Chiefs rookies are set to report to training camp at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph on July 24, with veterans reporting on July 28. From then on, we'll have the preseason, and then the regular season.
That means it'll likely be until next year, in February if the Chiefs make a deep run in the playoffs or early January if they don't, that Kelce will have some time to step away from Missouri and perhaps even head on that rumored honeymoon the two want to take. But the couple is determined to make it work.
"They've seen too many Hollywood couples drift apart because work kept them in different places," one friend told Naughty But Nice. "Taylor has no intention of letting that happen to them. If Travis has to be in Missouri, she'll be there too."
Reports indicate the two have it clear: they won't become one of those couples living separate lives for the sake of their respective careers. Instead, they're willing to put in the work now to spend time together. "They are not going to live in different cities," the source said. "If Travis needs to be somewhere for football, Taylor will make that home too."
There's no doubt that the couple has it easier than most. They not only have the money to relocate wherever they need to and be comfortable without giving up anything, but Swift's job doesn't demand she be in one particular place unless she's doing promo, and even for that she has a private plane. So, at least for now, the plan makes sense. When Kelce retires, it'll be another matter altogether.
"Taylor can write, record, and run her business from almost anywhere," the insider said. "She wants to wake up next to her husband, not just see him on weekends. Being together isn't an afterthought-it's the priority."
As it should be when you get married.
"Their philosophy is simple," the insider added. "Wherever Travis is, that's where Taylor wants to be."
