The entire Trump family was at hand to watch the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, with US President Donald Trump presenting the trophy to the winners. And by the entire family we truly mean the entire family, not just US President Donald Trump and his wife Melania, but sons Don Jr., Eric and Barron as well as daughters Ivanka and Tiffany.
But despite that, it didn't seem like it was a happy family reunion for the Trumps. Indeed, Eric Trump shared a photo with his siblings on Instagram stories during the game, featuring Don Jr., Ivanka and Tiffany-but no Barron, despite the fact that Barron was also at the game. Ouch.

In general, ever since Trump took office, it seems like he and first lady Melania Trump are in many ways a unit with their kid, Barron Trump, with Trump's other kids, Don Jr., Eric, Ivanka, and Tiffany on the outside looking in. And that has led people to speculate about the relationship Barron Trump has with his older siblings, particularly considering the age difference between them.
According to RadarOnline, Barron and his siblings don't really get along. And it can all be traced back to his mother, Melania, who has always tried to keep him separate from the rest of the family. Barron is a decade younger than his closest sibling, Tiffany, whose mother is Marla Maples, and there are over 20 years between him and his oldest brother, Don Jr., whose mother and that of Eric and Ivanka was Ivana Trump.
Melania has reportedly prioritized Barron's relationship with her own family over the Trumps, particularly her late mother Amalija Knavs. One Reddit user wrote: "Barron is less than half their age and the son of his dad's third wife. They never lived together or spent much meaningful time together, the way siblings usually do."
Another provided some context, "I grew up in DC, and my neighbor played soccer against Barron," adding, "They told me that not a single member of that family ever showed up to watch him play. I honestly feel bad for the kid."
"I wonder if Melania tried to shield Barron from the excesses of his older half-brothers," another commenter said.
Not just that, there were reportedly tensions in the family after Eric publicly repeated a story about something Barron allegedly said to President Joe Biden during his father's inauguration. According to Hollywood insider Rob Shuter, Melania wasn't happy.
"Melania does not want Barron discussed. Ever," a source told Shuter. "She told Eric to shut his mouth. She protects that boy like a lioness."
On Reddit, people had mixed reactions about Melania's choice to keep Barron separate from the other Trumps. "Melania is a ghoul who only cares about her own child," one Reddit user said, while another one added, "I can't think of a worse person to be giving young mothers advice." But others also commended her for protecting Barron, even if that means protecting him from those close to him.
