These two are a perfect match. It’s not always clear how two animals find each other — especially when they’re so different — but somehow they always do. People online can’t get enough of the special bond between a horse and a Golden Retriever. They joked that the two “share a brain cell,” and a video that’s gone viral online proves that it’s true.
Shared by Madison Cow, the clip is so perfect. These two clearly are so similar to each other. Of course they’re besties!
Both horses and Golden Retrievers are known for their close relationships to humans, but these two are something else! It’s honestly so delightful to watch the horse and Golden Retriever interact with each other. They have such a funny relationship. There’s no one like these two!

The clip shows the horse leaning out of his stall to give the Golden some well-deserved kisses on his nose. The dog is loving it — he doesn’t mind it one bit. The horse might even be getting some good scratches in.
“Dumb and dumber,” their mama teased. “And if you’re wondering, Banks [the Golden] keeps going back,” she added.
People in the comments section were so tickled by these two — although some of them were worried that the horse was being a smidge too rough!
“So horses get cuteness aggression too. Cool,” joked one person.
“Ouchie touch is better than no touch at all,” another commenter teased.
“Look at that, sharing the brain cell,” chimed in someone else.
“‘Sure you can bite me on my head over and over again I’ll just stand here.' Golden things,” one person wrote.
Are Dogs Smart?
This is one goofy pupper. But just because he’s a little goofy doesn’t mean he isn’t smart!
Some scientists believe that dogs are as smart as a 2-year-old child. You can tell that a dog is smart if they learn tricks or cues quickly. Also, if they can manipulate their humans. Some dogs understand human gestures and social cues. While others can even understand human emotions!
So you see? Dogs are so smart.
