The man who accused Stefon Diggs of sexual assault says he has evidence proving that the NFL star was a part of an alleged physical altercation.
Christopher Griffith filed court documents on Tuesday, July 21, according to TMZ, and has plans to add allegations to his lawsuit against Diggs using evidence that the NFL star’s team shared in discovery. Griffith claims that Diggs’ assistant has text messages and phone records of the former New England Patriots wide receiver coordinating the alleged attack against him in Los Angeles in 2023. He alleges that there was correspondence between Diggs and an alleged attacker to book flights and hotels the day he was attacked. Griffith claims that there is footage from his apartment building showing the alleged attacker on the phone to what he alleges is Diggs based on phone logs.
In addition to the phone records, Griffith also wants to address a recent social media post by Diggs who wrote, “Mamas a n**** lying on my name because he got caught stealing.”

“Trying to act like this n**** is a victim because he lying is crazy,” Diggs added.
Griffith plans to sue for defamation based on Diggs’ social media posts.
The celebrity stylist accused the NFL star of drugging and sexually assaulting him during a 2023 incident at Diggs’ home. Griffith then claims that Diggs’ brother — Darez Diggs — and a group of men attacked him and that he had over $100K in property stolen from his Los Angeles apartment building a week after in an attempt to keep him from going public with the incident. The charges surrounding Griffith’s lawsuit with Darez and the apartment complex have since been dropped.
Throughout this legal process, Diggs has denied the allegations claiming that Griffith is using the alleged incident “for clout and attention.”
Griffith’s attorney, Jake Lebowitz, said last year, “Mr. Griffith is looking forward to showing the world in Court that regardless of the fairy tale fabricated by Mr. Diggs’ high-priced New York Lawyers, he is the victim of Mr. Diggs’ unwanted sexual advances and his brother’s violent attacks.”
