Scary Movie 6 is available digitally through Paramount Home Entertainment starting July 21, 2026. Rather than a standard digital release, this digital release features an extended cut with more jokes, brand-new scenes, and an alternate ending, allowing viewers to experience the film in two different ways.
The extended cut expands the theatrical version with additional comedy scenes and new moments that weren’t included in theaters. In addition to the extended cut, viewers also get access to a previously unseen alternate ending that changes the film’s final moments.
Distributed by Paramount Pictures, the digital release includes bonus features beyond the two versions of the film. The bonus content includes reunion interviews with Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, and Regina Hall. It also includes behind-the-scenes featurettes exploring the making of the film and its wildest moments.
Scary Movie 6 is the sixth installment in the long-running parody franchise and serves as a sequel to the first two films. The film follows Cindy, Brenda, Shorty, and Ray as they’re pulled back into another outrageous adventure when a brand-new masked killer begins targeting them 26 years after the events of the original film.
Michael Tiddes directed the film while Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, and Rick Alvarez wrote the story. The film reunites longtime franchise stars Marlon Wayans, Shawn Wayans, Anna Faris, and Regina Hall. The supporting cast includes Teyana Taylor, Kenan Thompson, Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Carmen Electra, Kim Wayans, Anthony Anderson, and several others.
Scary Movie 6 grossed nearly $228 million worldwide against a production budget of $30 million. Despite its commercial success, critics gave it mixed-to-negative reviews, while audiences responded positively. At the time of writing, the film holds a 23% Tomatometer score and a 65% Popcornmeter score on Rotten Tomatoes.
The digital release adds an extended cut, an alternate ending, and bonus features for fans revisiting the latest installment in the franchise.
