UNICEF said the lost supplies, including generators, drinking water, storage containers and hygiene kits, were worth about $3.9 million. The agency described the strike part of another night of heavy bombardment that forced air-raid alerts and explosions across Kyiv and its suburbs.
“This attack was part of another horrific, sleepless night for children,” the statement said.
“Attacks on humanitarian warehouses and assaults on aid workers impede delivery of essential assistance to children and families affected by the war.”
Dmytro Lubinets, Ukraine’s parliamentary human rights commissioner, said attacks on humanitarian facilities and international mission staff violate international humanitarian law and that the aggressor state must be held accountable.
UNICEF also said that in the past week two children were killed and at least 50 others were injured in attacks across Ukraine. It also said June 2026 was the deadliest month for children since the start of the full-scale invasion, with seven children killed and 116 injured.
