With the summer transfer window well underway, there are plenty of rumors surrounding the comings and goings at Man City. After already securing the signatures of Elliot Anderson from Nottingham Forest and Jeremy Monga from Leicester City, Enzo Maresca is looking to further strengthen his squad as he embarks on his first season in charge.
While there is likely to be more incomings to the Etihad Stadium, there's plenty of talk about potential players leaving. Nathan Ake has already left the club to join Turkish side Fenerbahce. This comes after the end-of-season departures of John Stones, who is currently without a club, and Bernardo Silva who has joined Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Talking of Madrid, Jose Mourinho is reportedly interested in City defender Ruben Dias. There are also strong suggestions that City's first ever World Cup-winning captain Rodri could potentially leave to join the new Mourinho revolution.
Rodri was simply outstanding in the 2026 World Cup. After spending much of the last two seasons on the injury list, the World Cup was a definite return to fitness and form. If City lose him, it will be an incredibly huge blow. However, they may decide to cash in on their star midfielder, with Rodri's current contract due to expire at the end of the upcoming season.
A somewhat surprising rumor surrounded the future of Man City starlet Phil Foden. These have seemingly put to rest, however, with the Stockport Iniesta reportedly due to sign a new contract which will last until the summer of 2030
