Lip Reader Reveals What FIFA Boss Whispered To Trump After Viral World Cup Stunt

A lip reader caught what Infantino whispered to Trump.

United States President Donald Trump has been trending online after the 2026 FIFA World Cup final. He seemingly refused to leave the stage for Spain’s trophy lift. Now, after reviewing the now-viral moment, a professional lip reader has revealed what he believes FIFA President Gianni Infantino said to President Trump amid those awkward scenes.

After the World Cup final on July 19, 2026, at MetLife Stadium, President Trump caused awkward moments with Infantino. He refused to leave the stage for Spain’s trophy hoist, like he did after Chelsea won the Club World Cup in 2025. The president lingered in front of the cameras throughout the festivities and even found time to bust out his signature moves.

Following the final on Sunday, President Trump and Infantino jointly presented the trophy to Spain’s midfielder Rodri. The FIFA boss ran up to ask the U.S. president to step aside while he stood on the edge of the stage with the players. However, the president simply ignored Infantino’s instructions.

Professional lip reader Jeremy Freeman noted what the president said to Spain’s captain Rodri. He also decoded what Infantino said to President Trump during the bizarre circumstances. According to The Express, Freeman told Reach that when he handed the trophy to Spain’s captain, President Trump exclaimed, “Very good, well done, well done.”

President Trump then hovered strangely at the side of the stage, even though he was clearly supposed to step off. Infantino raced up and, according to Freeman, leaned into President Trump’s ear, saying, “Ha ha ha ha, you stay with them?!”

Confetti cannons and smoke machines burst around the Spanish team. However, President Trump remained in the frame. He allowed photographers to capture his presence during Spain’s celebrations, worsening the embarrassment.

After all that, FIFA’s official social media accounts still removed President Trump from the photos they posted of Spain lifting its trophy. Not only that, but the picture uploaded on Instagram by the official Spanish team also didn’t feature the U.S. President. There’s also a 20-slide post from later Sunday night showing the team celebrating with no President Trump in sight.

FIFA President’s Hot Mic Reaction Reveals Frustration With President Trump

In a harsh hot-mic TV moment, President Trump’s cringe-worthy stage invasion at Spain’s winning ceremony was slammed. The 80-year-old president was booed as soon as he entered the field after Spain’s 1-0 victory against Argentina. According to HuffPost White House writer S.V. Dáte, “Ambient crowd noise was about 78 decibels. Booing brought it to 84,” which is about the sound of a passing diesel truck.

While the president was on stage, a Spanish player was caught imitating his famous “Trump dance.” The president often does that step to the Village People’s Y.M.C.A.

After presenting the trophy to Golden Ball winner Rodri, President Trump refused to get off the stage. The president’s friend and ally, Infantino, dashed over to try to pull him out of the way of the winning squad, but his attempt went down the drain. President Trump stayed glued to the Spanish team while confetti cannons and smoke machines went off. All while the camera kept rolling to capture the team’s celebrations.

Australian broadcaster SBS, which has been airing every World Cup match, noted the attention-seeking moment. SBS commentator Claudio Fabiano can be heard saying, “They can edit him out of that,” when footage of the joyous moment featuring President Trump was aired on Australian TV. The president could be seen clumsily lingering on the stage.

One social media user commented, “Editing Trump OUT is the best idea I’ve heard yet! Let’s just edit him right out of everything,” after the SBS video swiftly gained traction and was shared worldwide. Another described the U.S. president as “a colossal embarrassment to America. His selfishness is childlike” and said that he had attempted to “upstage & hog the limelight from Spain.”

Judge raises concerns over evidence in Reflecting Pool vandalism case

A D.C. judge has lambasted Donald Trump’s Justice Department goons over their efforts to blame someone else for the mess his administration has made of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. Justice Todd E.
