Queen Camilla did not miss out on the landmark family moment between Prince Harry and King Charles.
As it was speculated, a meeting did happen between the monarch and his son, which the Queen Consort reportedly bore witness to alongside Meghan Markle, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Queen Camilla’s relationship with Prince Harry and his wife has been marked with some alleged heated moments in the past, including reservations that the royal does not have a mind of his own around the former actress.
The reunion reportedly happened on July 10 at the king’s country estate in Highgrove House, where he was able to spend some time with his two grandkids, whom he had not seen much of since their birth. As expected, Meghan accompanied the trio with Camilla as the surprise addition.
According to royal writer Robert Jobson, “The Queen was there for a reason. To make sure that everything was witnessed.” Her presence reportedly served as a method of preventing a repeat of the Sussexes’ secret spilling rampage, which happened after they left the royal palace in 2020.
This way, nobody else may likely know what happened in that room, and if a leak happens, the culprits would be easily identifiable. The late Queen Elizabeth had set the tone for this kind of meeting when she would not take Harry’s calls without anyone present in the room.

The king, who is currently battling cancer at age 77, has been open to the idea of meeting his son and grandchildren for a while now. Fully aware of his age and how deteriorating his condition may get, the king does not intend to spend the remaining years of his life leaving any stone unturned.
Following the meeting, Harry reportedly told a few guests at the Time 100 gala last week that his father was doing great as he continues to get treatment for his undisclosed condition.
The author was also gushing to the guests that his wife and children are happy to be home in California after their short, yet impactful visit to the United Kingdom.

Bower had also claimed that Meghan’s alleged concerns about her husband never becoming king left a bad impression about her in the minds of the Prince and Princess of Wales.

Harry’s long-standing security situation in the United Kingdom came back on the radar in the weeks leading up to his visit to the United Kingdom.
As shared by The Blast, the Netflix star had requested for his taxpayer-funded security be restored to guarantee his full safety alongside his wife and kids, but this was not granted.
Coupled with that, the invitation for his stay in one of the royal estates was also withdrawn days after he reportedly accepted the offer, further intensifying the tension surrounding his reported meeting with the king.
However, the calm and collected nature of the eventual meeting and the arrival of his wife and kids on British soil pivoted the conversation into another direction.
Richard Kay, a royal expert, revealed during a podcast appearance that Harry handled the whole situation with much more drama than it originally required, and it may have ignorantly set the tone for future visits.
“By and large, they can slip in and out. All this talk that Harry’s in danger and he needs this wraparound security – well, anonymity is the best form of security of all. No one can cause them harm,” he added.
He continued that the lack of photographs of when they landed and where they came from is proof that the UK is not as dangerous for them as they claim to be, and the public may not be interested in their affairs like they thought.
