POCATELLO — A person died in a Pocatello mobile home fire Tuesday evening.
The Pocatello Fire Department was called to Mountain View Mobile Home and RV park on the 1900 block of South 5th Avenue just after 8 p.m.
The fire was contained to a single mobile home and one adult was confirmed deceased, according to a news release.
The fire department and the Pocatello Police Department are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fire. They remained on scene as of 9 p.m.
“We ask the community to keep the victim’s loved ones in their thoughts during this difficult time. Please avoid the immediate area to allow investigators room to work,” the news release said.
