They're incredible parents.

Watching animal parents care for their babies is always so special, especially when the babies are cute, and you get to see just how much they're loved. Devoted parents put their all into raising their young, and that's true for animals from dogs and cats to Parrots

In this video, we meet a pair of Parrot parents who are so proud to show off their brand-new chick while continuing to pour love into a second egg that's still waiting to hatch. Their gentle dedication is so heart-melting, and the teamwork has everyone hooked. Take a look!

@lily_tomkinson, a wildlife vet tech from Australia, shared a TikTok video of her two Eclectus Parrots, Maisy and Keo, who had fallen in love and are now very proud parents.

In this video update, we get a peek at the sweet devotion this new family has for their growing brood, and it's melting everyone's hearts.

On June 30, Lily shared on social media that she had built a house for Maisy and Keo, and they didn't waste any time starting their family. And since then, they've kept viewers up to date with what is happening with the family, including this update. They installed a remote camera on the box at the beginning of July, which is why we get this adorable video of the new, proud parents.

In the comments, people shared their congratulations now that the first baby has hatched.

One person wrote, "Omg, this is so beautiful, well done giving Maisy a hand. I’m so invested in this journey!"

Another shared, "Aww, so beautiful! I am an ex-bird breeder and miss breeding birds so much."

Other comments included, "Holy I'm early," "Aww, babies," "OMG, yes, "If they need a babysitter, I'm available," and "Best looking parents I have seen."

Important Things To Know If Your Parrot Laid an Egg

Maisy and Keo are parents who are doing a great job with their eggs and raising little birds, and a lot of help from their human parents, too. We've been following along with the series, but experts say there are some important things you should know if your Parrot lays an egg.

According to Bird Tricks, once you've established that the egg is fertilized and will eventually produce a chick, like Maisy and Keo's, it's important to give Mama her space. Like all mamas, she will be protective of her little baby, so you should observe and read her body language before approaching.

Lafeber explains that if a breeding pair is going to care for their eggs, they'll need a quiet, safe space, and a bird box is typically what's used. As we see with Maisy and Keo, having a nest box provides them with a quiet, stable environment to nurture their eggs until they hatch.

Nestbox has a lot of information on which wood to use for a bird nest box and which materials you can add to help your birds be comfortable. Things like sawdust and wood shavings are good options, as we can see in the box Maisy and Keo have.

Congrats to the new bird parents and their humans!
