The future is bright for the Dallas Wings. Rookie Azzi Fudd is having a historic inaugural season in the W, which has Dallas in the thick of the playoff race. All the Wings need to do is get one more win to carry this momentum with them into the WNBA All-Star break.
Dallas is gearing up for a big road game against Portland, their last game before the All-Star break. Getting a win will be crucial as the Wings attempt to keep pace with the Valkyries, Aces, and Lynx atop the Western Conference standings.
But will the Wings finally get Paige Bueckers back after her recent concussion?

Paige Bueckers injury status vs. Fire
The Wings will have their superstar point guard back in action.
Bueckers has been upgraded to available for the game against the Fire, according to Alexa Philippou of ESPN.
“Breaking: Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers will be AVAILABLE to play tonight as the Wings take on the Portland Fire in their final game before the All-Star break, a source tells ESPN. Bueckers missed the last game due to soreness following a mid-game collision on Sunday,” Philippou shared on X, formerly Twitter.
Bueckers left Sunday’s game in the fourth quarter and did not return. She also missed Dallas’ last game against New York despite clearing the W’s concussion protocol.
In other Wings injury news, forward Alanna Smith is also questionable with a right leg injury.
Wings at Fire tips off later tonight at 10PM ET from Moda Center in Portland.
