While the Green Bay Packers have made the playoffs the last three seasons, they have failed to advance past the Divisional Round. The franchise will be looking to go on a much deeper run in 2026.
To do so, they’ll be looking for everyone in their cornerback room to take another step forward. That includes free agent signee Benjamin St-Juste. Bill Barnwell of ESPN is a big fan of that signing, hyping up his Green Bay potential while including the CB on his All-Backup team.
“The Packers are usually a reliable source for talented depth, but this year, we’re going for one of their free agent additions on a low-cost contract,” Barnwell wrote. “St-Juste was a promising cornerback in Washington before falling out of the starting lineup in 2024. The Canadian wisely chose to join the Chargers last offseason, where he was one of the many defensive backs to revitalize their careers under Jesse Minter, allowing a 68.3 passer rating in coverage across 356 snaps. St-Juste’s 6-3 frame makes him a valuable option on the outside for our defense.”

Over his 16 games with the Chargers in 2025, St-Juste put up 37 tackles, seven pass breakups and an interception. Furthermore, his 75.6 overall grade from Pro Football Focus ranked 12/114 cornerbacks. St-Juste’s 77.1 coverage mark placed him ninth.
The Packers finished their 2025 campaign ranked 11th in pass defense, allowing 194.1 yards per game. While things could certainly be worse, Green Bay is looking to climb up the rankings come 2026. St-Juste may not be considered a starter, but he’ll still a play a crucial role in any secondary success the franchise finds.
