Packers are ideal destination for 7-time All-Pro with 138.5 sacks

As Micah Parsons works his way back from a torn ACL, and is slated to open the 2026 regular season on the Physically Unable to Perform list, Green Bay will be turning to players who have previously underachieved or who have a limited track record to pick up the slack in the All-Pro’s absence.

Likewise, even when Parsons gets back on the field, Parsons isn’t guaranteed to return to peak form immediately, and on the opposite side of the line of scrimmage, fourth-round rookie Dani Dennis-Sutten is a complete unknown, and Lukas Van Ness has never quite lived up to his first-round billing.

However, given that the Packers currently have the 15th-most cap space in the league, Green Bay could be a perfect destination for Von Miller.

Miller, who has been named an All-Pro seven times, and has posted 138.5 career sacks, has gone on record that he believes he made a mistake by signing with the Washington Commanders last season.

However, given the Packers’ Super Bowl aspirations and the excitement that’s generated by the chance to play for a defense that includes Parsons, All-Pro safety Xavier McKinney, veteran tackle magnet at linebacker Zaire Franklin and a rising Edgerrin Cooper in the front-seven, Green Bay could be the type of destination Miller seeks out for the 2026 season.
