If you're an NFL and Disney fan, this new collection is the perfect pairing.
The Shield and the House of Mouse made waves at Fanatics Fest NYC when, along with Champion and Fanatics, they debuted the eight team pairings via the Disney Fan Draft -- Hosted by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and sports broadcaster Taylor Rooks -- for a first-of-its-kind cultural crossover.
What does that exactly mean? It means eight NFL teams were paired with iconic Disney, Star Wars, Marvel, and Pixar characters, essentially serving as their reimagined mascots for the new collection.
Tom Brady, Emmitt Smith, Rob Gronkowski, and Fernando Mendoza were among the former and future NFL stars on hand to make the revelations. The following eight teams were paired with characters:
Buffalo Bills (Disney's Beast)
Dallas Cowboys (Disney and Pixar's Woody)
Las Vegas Raiders (Star Wars' Darth Vader)
New England Patriots (Marvel's Captain America)
New York Giants (Disney's Wreck-It-Ralph)
New York Jets (Disney and Pixar's Buzz Lightyear)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (Disney's Captain Hook)
Washington Commanders (Disney and Pixar's Hamm)
