New Orleans is offering a $100 digital Visa gift card to visitors who book two or more hotel nights between July 6 and September 30, 2026. The promotion encourages travelers to explore the city's events, dining, and attractions in August.

As an incentive to draw more visitors to New Orleans in August, the destination launched a promotion enabling travelers who spend two or more nights in the city’s hotels to receive $100 digital Visa gift certificates.

The offer applies to bookings made between July 6 and Sept. 30, 2026.

Driving Summer Tourism

“Summer is a wonderful time to experience New Orleans, with incredible events, world-class dining and countless ways to enjoy the city,” said New Orleans & Company CEO Walt Leger III. “This promotion gives visitors even more value while encouraging them to explore our hotels, restaurants, attractions and local businesses.”

August Festivals and Local Savings

Museum Month, which showcases the city’s 24-plus museums, and the COOLinary festival are both featured in August, with the latter offering savings on prix-fixe menus at restaurants throughout New Orleans.

Other August promotions include 20% savings on Ritz-Carlton’s spa and salon services, a complimentary glass of wine at Bourbon House with the purchase of an entrée at Bourbon House, and the chance to sample three types of pasta at Dominica for $39; happy hour at Junebug’s every Wednesday.

Inspiring Long-Weekend Stays

“Whether it is a first visit or a summer staycation, there is always something new to discover in New Orleans,” said Leger III. “We hope this offer inspires more people to plan a trip, stay a little longer and experience everything that makes our city so special.”
