Contour Airlines will launch a new nonstop route between St. Thomas and St. Maarten starting October 5, 2026, with twice-weekly flights on Fridays and Mondays.

Island hopping in the Caribbean is about to get a bit easier, thanks to Contour Airlines’ newest route launch.

The leisure carrier has just announced plans to begin nonstop service between St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands and the Dutch Caribbean island of St. Maarten this fall.

Contour Airlines will operate the twice-weekly service between St. Thomas’s Cyril E. King Airport (STT) and St. Maarten’s Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) on Fridays and Mondays starting October 5, 2026.

The new inter-island route aligns with Contour’s business model of connecting underserved markets with new nonstop airlift.

"Contour is proud to continue expanding air service throughout the Caribbean with meaningful routes that connect communities, support tourism, and improve access between islands," said Ben Munson, president of Contour Airlines. "This new nonstop service between St. Thomas and St. Maarten reflects our ongoing commitment to providing convenient, reliable, and comfortable air travel options across the region."

Flights between the two islands will be aboard Contour’s 30-seat regional jets that come with extra legroom and complimentary in-flight snacks.

Fares start at about $150 roundtrip and are now on sale on Contour Airlines’ website.
