Hard Rock Hotel Cancun and Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta are closing for renovations until December 2026, enhancing all areas and adding music history collections, with bookings open for winter 2023.

Hard Rock Hotels is closing Hard Rock Hotel Cancun and Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta until December 2026 to renovate and enhance virtually every corner of the all-inclusive resorts, from accommodations to public spaces and amenities, with bookings open for the winter season.

Leadership on the Reimagined Experience

“By opening reservations today, we are giving our loyal community and new travelers the exclusive opportunity to secure their place at what will undoubtedly be the premier resort openings of the winter season,” added Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta General Manager Erika Cruz.

Added Hard Rock Hotel General Manager Ximo Blanch: “We are structurally altering how our guests experience the Caribbean and the Pacific, from the completely fresh energy of our luminous guestrooms to specialized spaces for every family member, including dedicated spaces for kids and teens.”

Sweeping Property Upgrades

The renovations will touch virtually all areas of the two resorts, from accommodations to public spaces, amenities and meetings and convention spaces.

Celebrating Music Heritage

The renovation will also include a new collection of music history, highlighting “unique items from legendary icons and today's top global artists; these meticulously curated displays reinforce the priceless musical heritage that makes Hard Rock unique in the hospitality world,” the company said.
